Step by Step guide for New and Returning students


Step 1: Activate your MassBay Account

You should receive an email from HelpDesk@massbay.edu containing your username and initial password. Please check your Junk/Spam folder as some students may find their email in one of these folders. Follow the directions to activate your account through the OneLogin portal. If you did not receive this email, please email helpdesk@massbay.edu or call 781-239-2440 to request your credentials.

Step 2: Log into BayNavigator

BayNavigator is the system that you use to register for classes, pay your bill, and request your transcript. The link provided here is to the video tutorials for using BayNavigator.

Step 3: Log into your Student Email

The student email system is hosted on a Microsoft Office 365 Portal and includes Outlook Web Access, along with essential Microsoft Office applications. It also include cloud storage on OneDrive. The college will send all communications to this email address, it is important for your to check this account frequently. The link provided here is to the video tutorials for using the Email system.

Step 4: Log into Blackboard

Blackboard Learn (commonly referred to as "Blackboard") is our learning management system. Faculty will use it to provide class content, issue assignments, conduct tests and other class work. The link provided here is to the video tutorials for using the Blackboard Learn system.
